More than 50 Kuwaiti firms participate in Career Fair 2011

The three-day Career Fair 2011 was unveiled at the Kuwait International Fair Ground (KIFG) in Mishref on 13th February 2011, with nationals and expatriates alike thronging the fair.

The job fair which involved participation of about 50 local companies, extendied hundreds of job offers in various fields, including health sector, oil and gas, banking and finance, education, hospitality, and services sector.

This is the first Career Fair being organized at KIFG in Mishref. Career Fair is a high-calibre event that helps talented nationals in all fields to meet the recruiters directly and get exposed to various training and career opportunities.

The event was unveiled by Ali Al-Rashid Minister of States for Cabinet Affairs, along with other KIFG officials. Expressing his gratitude towards organizers of the fair, Al-Rashid said that the goals and objectives of the fair meet with government’s efforts to create suitable job opportunities for job seekers who are well-qualified in several fields.

Among the companies that participated in the fair are Kuwait Petroleum and its subsidiaries, government ministries, IFA Hotels and Resorts, Maidan clinic, Al-Rashid Hospital, Rahma Photography, MRI Network, Dar Al-Shifa Hospital, Ali-Abdul-Wahab and Sons, Loyac, Nestle, Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, IBK, Koot Food Group, Kuwait Company for Development of Small Projects, Arab Open University, IKEA, SPETCO, Habchi & Chalhoub and Severa.

The CEO of KIFG, Abdulrahman Al-Nassar said that the exhibition plays a leading role in serving the society, as the job seekers can find suitable opportunities, while the employers can find suitable qualified staff members.
