Works at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port almost ready
The Ministry of Public Works in Kuwait has announced that the construction works on the causeway and railway at the building site of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port is already complete.
The Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port project is a national mega scheme, part of national development strategy.
Construction of 91percent of railway networks and 94percent of causeway for motorists is now complete, said Ghaleb Shalash, Director of Mega projects follow-up department, following inspection of the site by Dr. Fadhel Safar, Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs.
The Minister, during his tour, inspected the construction site and work for soil treatment. He said that he has already inspected the makeshift bridge linking the Boubyan Island with harbour site.
The Minister Safar has also inspected locations in northeast of the island, designing, dredging works, construction of piers, and equipment of management offices.
