Saudi Arabian Embassy in Kuwait suspends issue of Omrah visas

The Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Kuwait has stopped issuing visas to perform Omrah, the minor pilgrimage, as the stipulated period by Saudi Authorities for Omrah has ended. However, the embassy is continuing to issue visit visas.

Nearly 275,000 Omrah visas have been issued to residents of Kuwait and Iraq in the past eight months, said Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Fayez, the Saudi Ambassador in Kuwait.

The Embassy is eager to process visa documents as soon as possible to facilitate the travel of applicants. Those intending to acquire visit and transit visas have been requested to submit applications at the offices accredited by the embassy.
