Kuwait Airport to ease departure procedures of residency law violators

The Kuwait International Airport aims to ease the departure procedures of residency law violators intending to leave the country by air.

According to Col Bandar Hakim Al-Thufari, Director of Passports Department, the decision by Amir to grant amnesty to residency law violators, and permit them to leave the country without paying penalties, or to correct their status by paying fine, is a humanitarian decision.

He said that residency law violators, who lost their passports and have received travel documents from the embassies of their respective countries, will have to visit the Immigration Department in their area, and get the registration number prior to departure.

All residency law violators need to take advantage of this amnesty prior to 30th June.
