Speaking to the press, the Assistant Undersecretary, Dr. Mohammad Abdullah Al-Ansari revealed that the public can pay these fines by logging on to the ministry website www.moi.gov.kw.
This free service was launched on 1st July to ease procedures for expatriates and citizens, Al-Ansari said.
However, he advised the public to obtain a receipt on completion of payment process.
Al-Ansari said that the system implementation has been successful due to the joint efforts by technical and financial teams under supervision of Financial Affairs Department Head Khaled Al-Dakheel. The system was developed in co-ordination with IT department and K-Net Company.
