Five-day holiday in Kuwait from 25th February
The Government authorities in Kuwait have announced a five-day holiday beginning 25th February and lasting until 1st March to mark the occasion of National and Liberation days and Prophet’s birthday.
The Chairman of Civil Service Commission (CSC), Abdulaziz Al-Zebn issued a circular to this effect, and said that all government offices will resume work on 2nd March 2010.
With the Prophet’s birthday and Liberation day falling on 26th February, a Friday, being an official weekend holiday, CSC has decided to grant even 1st March as holiday, the sources said.
