Jazeera airways unveils new airfare system
Low-budget carrier, Jazeera Airways, has revealed its new airfare plan, wherein it has merged the three existing economy fare classes into a single Jazeera economy class, with the best price guaranteed.
Effective today, the travelers can make their bookings in Jazeera economy class, wherein they will be presented with only a single fare option. The fares, inclusive of taxes and surcharges, are displayed online or will be quoted in the lowest fares of Jazeera for the day. These fares will be open for sale.
Speaking about the issue, the Chief Executive of Jazeera, Stefan Pichier, said that as Jazeera continues to expand throughout the region, it aims to ensure that the fares offer guests with best value for money, while also being transparent and easy to understand.
The Jazeera economy class now also offers a complimentary baggage allowance of 20kg, and offers the flexibility to change their booking up to 24 hours prior to departure, for a fee per sector, plus the fare difference.
Picher explained that with Jazeera Economy, alongside Jazeera Business, travelers no longer need to worry about any hidden costs, confusing fares, or any additional charges for baggage etc, as the fares are all-inclusive.
The new Jazeera economy also offers the option to cancel the booking upto 24 hours prior departure, for fee, while the credit for cancelled booking will be held for six months. The Jazeera economy travelers can also upgrade to business class if required at the airport by purchasing an upgrade at the airport at the time of departure.
