Housing Authority kick-starts Sabah Al-Ahmad City works
The Public Authority for Housing Care in Kuwait has entered into a contract worth KD12 million with Sino-hydro Corporation on Wednesday for the Sabah Al-Ahmad City Infrastructure.
The project needs to be executed within 690 days in one section of the city and involves parking facilities, main infrastructure components and 40 power relay facilities.
The Minister of State for Housing Affairs and Minister of Health, Moudhi Al-Humoud, when speaking to reporters after signing the contract, said that this project would launch Sabah Al-Ahmad City works, worth a total of KD419mn.
The Ministry said that it was keen on utilizing Chinese expertise and technology in construction and development.
The Chairman of Housing Authority, Ali Al- Fouzan, mentioned that lands in the city would be assigned to listed nationals and they can begin construction after 24 months. The Sabah Al-Ahmad City project, he emphasized, is the vital project of the housing plan, ending in 2016.
