Kuwait experiencing major economic crisis
Kuwait is experiencing real economic crisis which has led to a significant cut on public spending, the officials say.
The annual budget of the State this year, amounts to KD12bn, compared to KD19bn last year. The present political situation in Kuwait has further had a negative impact on the economy, the officials pointed out.
Only new regulations can revive the stagnating economy of Kuwait, apart from the economic stimulus package regulation.
The officials also urged that any candidate should not pass ‘hasty’ judgments on the economic stimulus package, converting it to a hot debatable topic for the sake of campaigning. The law is intended to uplift the country, and not for the benefit of an influential lot.
