Wataniya Airline- new technology driven budget carrier all set to take-off
The new low-budget no-frills carrier, Wataniya Airline is preparing for take-off in early 2009, as scheduled.
Despite the global recession, the CEO of Watania Airways, George Cooper is confident about the success of the airline and its premium produce services on offer.
Wataniya Airways will offer its passengers with a new level of style and comfort when the airline begins flight in its new Airbus A320 in January 2009.
A statement by the company revealed that it will be the first in the region to install cutting edge technology on board, and its luxury airplanes will offer travelers unparalleled choice for in-flight entertainment and special facilities that appeal to both leisure and business guests.
The first class passengers get to enjoy access to video on demand wherein they get to watch, rewind and pause a full range of programs and TV shows from around the world. The new aircraft technology permits passengers in the First Class to enjoy additional features by plugging their iPods directly into sockets located in the seats.
Also, for the first-time ever in the region, busy travelers can send and receive SMS, emails on their mobile phones and Blackberries using OnAir innovative technology. Also the passengers are free to use and recharge personal communication devices, including laptops, on Wataniya Airways planes.
The CEO of Wataniya Airways, George Cooper, said that the airline aims to offer its guests with pre-eminent luxury travel experience.
“We are one of the first airlines in the region to feature a technology that permit passengers to remain connected via emails and text messages in the air. This will ensure that the guests continue with their busy lives, from the comfort of our aircraft,” he added.
