Kuwait Municipality Committee continues to demolish illegal structures
The Kuwait Municipality Committee, in its campaign against infringements, is continuing to demolish illegal structures in residential and commercial areas as per relevant cabinet decrees.
The committee has so far managed to remove 320 infringements in the recent weeks nationwide, said Duaj Al-Sanafi, the Chief of Al-Ahmadi Committee.
The municipal authorities have demolished 109 illegal structures, including barns and fences in the Al-Ahmadi Governorate, apart from 29 infringements in Al-Sanafi, Jaber Al-Ali area.
In the meanwhile, the Chairman of Hawally Committee, Tareq Al-Qattan, said that his committee has removed two illegal warehouses in Salwa Area, 24 irregularities were tackled in Bayan area, including the trees and fences that blocked the passages.
Another 45 encroachments have been removed in Al-Sulaibkhat area and 21 in Al-Mani’e area. About 25 infringements were demolished in Al-farwaniya Governorate and Al-Umariya area. 27 similar encroachments were also removed from Sabah Al-Salem area, and Mubarak Al-Kabir Governorate.
The demolished infringements were mostly diwaniyas, warehouses, tents and fences built on state property.
