Plan to develop islands into tourist spots
The Cabinet plans to request Minister of Public works and State Minister for Muncipal Islands, Fadhel Safar, to chalk out a plan to develop Failaka, Kubbar, Boubyan, and Qarouh, islands into tourist spots.
According to government sources, the government aims to offer all recreational amenities, including resorts, hotels, commercial complexes and malls at these places.
During the next cabinet meeting, the Cabinet is also set to approve the mechanism of disbursing the Needy Citizens Fund to citizens who are unable to repay their loans.
