Kuwaiti Government urged to build workers city
The Kuwaiti government should allocate a special area for forming a residential city, for expatriate workers in cleaning companies – the Chairperson of Al-Jawhara Group, Mejwal Ayed Al-Dehani, voiced his opinion.
Pointing out to the need for cleaning companies to have wide plots for offering suitable and well-equipped accommodation for their workers, he said, it can be constructed based on Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) system.
If the government is serious about its proposal to enforce the rules and regulations, Al-Dehani said that the owners should be given a maximum period of one year to provide technical and administrative needs, particularly to the long-term contractors.
