Fingerprint system to be mandatory from August
The Public Works Minister and State Minister for Municipality Affairs, Dr Fadhel Safar, has issued a directive to all concerned authorities at Kuwait Municipality to strictly abide by the fingerprint attendance system so as to lessen the administrative flaws in the Municipality.
During a meeting held this week, the Minister conveyed the instructions made by HH the Prime Minister, Sheikh Nasser Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah to end the administrative corruption at the Kuwait Municipality.
The fingerprint system will be implemented during first week of August, and those violating the regulation will have to face stern action, said the Minister.
