KAC launches additional flights to Egypt; Cancels flight to Beirut
Kuwait Airways Corporation (KAC) has announced launch of additional flights to Cairo beginning mid-June this year.
According to the KAC Regional Manager, Abdel Nasser Behrami, four to five flights will be staged each day to cope with high travel demand between Cairo and Kuwait, as it coincides with the annual vacation of Kuwaiti students in Egypt.
Passengers holding tickets, including date of return flight, do not need to confirm anymore. The KAC offices in Egypt and few other states would, however, contact the passengers for that purpose.
It has also been revealed that flights to Alexandria from Kuwait would be increased to five per week from three.
However, Kuwait Airways Corporation has cancelled a passenger flight to and from Beirut since 7th May’08. The Manager at the KAC Beirut office has suggested that another flight may be introduced next week, though it is yet to be confirmed.
