Kuwati Government plans pension hikes
In view of the recent salary hike, the authorities in Kuwait are also planning for an alteration in the minimum retirees pay, revealed a senior official on Saturday.
The Ministry of Finance and Board Chairman of the Public Authority for Social Security (PASS), Mustafa Al-Shimali, in his statement mentioned that the authority would chalk out a plan to increase the minimum pay for retirees from KD720 to KD860 per month.
He also indicated that the ratio of the hike would range from KD94 to KD180. Recently the authorities had approved a pay-hike of KD120.
