Kuwait lays emphasis on travel regulations within GCC countries
The Ministry of Interior in Kuwait has emphasized that citizens who travel to GCC countries from Kuwait, when returning to Kuwait, will have to use the same passport and civil ID which they left the country with.
The Director General, Nationality and Travel Documents Department, Brig. Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, said all GCC countries have already issued strict rules pertaining to this issue, and those who do not abide by the rule, will be subjected to questioning.
Citizens who lose their passport or civil ID while travelling to other GCC countries, can go up to the Kuwaiti Embassy of that particular country, to get an official document, which will enable them to return home, clarified Brig. Faisal.
