New intellectual property law likely in Kuwait
A new intellectual Property Law is likely to come up in Kuwait. The Ministry officials are carrying on discussions with a US delegation in Kuwait to discuss the new law.
The officials noted that Kuwait has entered into a TIFA agreement with the US delegation, to pave way for more international trade agreements. The Ministry revealed its plans to create an awareness campaign and urge people to adhere and respect intellectual property laws.
While no state can get rid of piracy completely, every government should take measures to reduce piracy rates as much as possible, an official at the Ministry mentioned.
