Jaber City the best housing project in Kuwait
The Housing Minister and Minister of State for National Assembly (NA) Affairs, Abdulwahed Al-Awadhi, said that Jaber Al-Ahmad City would be an -ideal housing project, that has ever happened in Kuwait. Al-Awadhi was on an inspection visit to the city, when he remarked this.
Jaber Al-Ahmad City, located 22kms west of Kuwait City, has about 7000 housing units with other vital requirements such as hospitals, schools and other amenities.
He also said that he hoped that the time-table for the construction of the project would end as scheduled, and revealed that the latest technological resources would permit the city to have its own air-conditioning system, which is referred to as the suburb cooling system.
He mentioned that at present Kuwait should mainly focus on providing housing for citizens through the co-operation between public and private sectors. When questioned about the slow allotment and administrative procedures being followed for housing, Awadhi indicated that a Central system will be established to stop such things from happening.
