Job fair 2007 unveiled in Kuwait
A campus recruitment event has commenced in the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST), North Campus, Hawally on Wednesday. The fair has been organized by the Center for Career Services, and Alumni Career, GUST.
Inaugurated by Abdulrahman Al Muhailan, the President of GUST, the exhibition aims to bring in the corporate sector and students under a single roof for mutual benefit. The event has more than 22 local and international participating companies, which includes, Ernst and Young, Deloitte, Zain, Wataniya Telecom, Global Investment House, NBK, Boubyan Bank, Gulf Insurance Company, Kuwait Investment House, Global Investment House, and BKME.
The exhibition witnessed a steady inflow of students’ right from day one. A HR professional of Ernst and Young, said that the company has been in search for majors in accounting, economics, management, finance and info system for quite sometime. She revealed that the fresh graduates would be provided on-job training, and the company has dedicated team that lead them through initial hiccups and sharpen their skills.
The job fair aims to provide best employment opportunities to students in Kuwait.
