Visit visas now hold one month validity instead of three months

All types of visit visas hold validity for just one month instead of three months, revealed the Assistant Undersecretary for Citizenship and Passport Affairs, Maj. Gen. Sheikh Faisal Al-Nawaf yesterday.

He also issued other directives to the Directors of all departments of Residency Affairs for renewal of visit visas for expatriates who enter the country on various types of visit visas for a maximum of two weeks under humanitarian and medical reasons. They will also have to pay the necessary fee for the renewal.

Maj. Gen. Sheikh Faisal mentioned that there has been strict instruction from Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Lt. Gen. Khalid Al Jarrah and Undersecretary of Interior Ministry Lt. Gen. Essam Al-Naham to apply the law on everyone without exception, and to iron out the obstacle facing visitors to all Residency Affairs department.
