First-ever Aviation Show opens to public

The first-ever Aviation Show in Kuwait’s history has been unveiled on 17th January, involving the participation of more than 150 international aviation companies.

The show is being held from 17th to 20th January at the Kuwait International Airport, where locals cordially greeted spectators from across the Gulf Region.

The Head of Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Sheikh Salman, commented on the development that has been made by the aviation sector in Kuwait and also appreciated the efforts of local and international participants.

The British Ambassador to Kuwait, Michael Davenport was also present at the occasion, who said that the British interest for this event is strong, and that numerous big and small aviation companies in the UK are looking for partnership with Kuwaiti companies.

In the four-day event, the first day was reserved for VIPs, the second day is for public bodies and companies, and the last two days are open to public.

The Airshow offered variety of activities with aerial exhibits, held on all four days by the Kuwait Air Force, Solo Turk, Extra Qatar, Saudi Falcons and others.
