Horeca Kuwait 2017 expo boosts Kuwait tourism

Kuwait, in its eagerness to develop tourism sector as a platform to showcase youth skill, the Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, after unveiling the Horeca Kuwait 2017 exhibition, organized by consulting firm Leaders Group, said that there are plans to boost tourism in the country.

Events such as the expo helps in strong development plants and promote investment, which in turn, will encourage youth to be actively involved in such endeavours, he said.

The General Manager of ‘Leaders Group’, Nabila Al-Anjeri, said that the expo aims to transform Kuwait into a beguiling tourist destination, which would prove instrumental in diversifying the revenue pool of the nation.

She highlighted the huge growth of the culinary business, and said that the expo has so far drawn more than 80 nutrition and catering companies. The three-day expo features a range of activities pertaining to catering, nutrition and industry.

The tourism department by the Ministry of Information plans to transform Kuwait into a tourist hub, as events such as expo are held regularly to exhibit the touristic potential of Kuwait.
