Five day Eid Al Fitr holidays from 5th July

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) in Kuwait yesterday announced that Eid Al Fitr holidays would be for five days from 5th July to 9th July. If Eid was to fall on Tuesday, the 5th July, the official holiday would last until 8th July, and 9th July, Saturday, would be a rest day.

But, if Eid starts on Wednesday, 6th July, Ramadan 30th, Tuesday, would still be a rest day, while Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday would be declared official holidays.

The State bodies, particularly those working in special working circumstances, may determine if the work hours are suitable for their own needs.
