360 Mall hosts series of Ramadan activities

The iconic 360 Mall in Kuwait has truly embraced the spirit of the Holy month of Ramadan through several social initiatives involving the ideas of good health and hospitality.

Being part of Tamdeen Group's corporate strategy in creating value for community, the mall is hosting a walkathon, in partnership with Rijeemy Centre, a popular nutrition and diet clinic, to help fight obesity.

Participants can participate in the walkathon by arriving at 360 Mall daily from 5.00pm to 6.00pm, except weekends, until the 6th of July. The tenants of the mall are also encouraged to join these activities.

This walkathon is one of the major health initiatives in Kuwait, and is held annually during the Ramadan period, and has been in progress over the past five years. This year, more than 2500 residents of Kuwait are expected to participate in the event.

The program is sponsored by major corporates like Zain Telecommunicatiion and Ghalya Technology, and is supported by Ministry of Youth, VIM Company, Equate, Al Wawan, Ata Hub, Fitness First, Art Studio, Nike, Glaciar to name a few.

Thereafter, there are several other fun activities organized by the mall in the days to come, like the treasure hunts, ladies programs, group exercises, free consultations with dieticians etc, and valuable prizes would be given to participants.

The Ramadan campaign by the mall began on 20th June with United Nations High Commissioner advocating the plight of refugees from around the world.
The mall has also partnered with Kuwait TV through Ministry of Information to host the popular TV show ‘Ghabga’ live from the mall, with several Kuwaiti celebrities being part of this series.

Moreover, shoppers at the mall will be treated to complementary coffee and dates from the two hospitality kiosks at the ground level of the mall during the holy month.

Apart from all the said, children will be given a chance to receive free traditional henna drawings on their palms, as part of Ramadan activity.
